Project Overview

This guide helps creators build TikTok short drama accounts, keep accounts stable, and continuously improve content conversion.
Code promotion has no follower requirement. After passing 1000 followers, still use both code promotion and the profile link to cover more conversion paths.

Region and IP Selection

The account region, content language, and target audience must stay consistent.
  • Europe and North America: suitable for English dramas, local dramas, and high-paying genres.
  • Southeast Asia: suitable for local-language dramas, translated dramas, and frequently updated content.
  • Each account should stick to one language and one content direction to avoid confusing the recommendation system.
Do not frequently switch IPs, device languages, or account regions. Pause account activity before switching, and sign in only after the environment is consistent.

IP Change Rules

Rule: if you want to switch to dramas in another language, you may change the region and IP — but do not do it frequently! Using a phone as an example:
  1. Turn on airplane mode
  2. Sign out of the account
  3. Wait a few hours, then switch the IP
  4. Turn off airplane mode and sign in again

Account Registration

Preparation

Materials:
  • Email or phone number: use an email that has never been registered on TikTok; Outlook is recommended.
  • Network: use a clean, stable IP in the target region.
  • Device: prefer a dedicated phone or a cloud phone (such as duoplus).
  • Materials: prepare drama clips, titles, descriptions, promotion links, and tags in advance.
Account inventory: Prepare multiple accounts in advance so a single account issue does not interrupt content testing. Registration rules:
  • Never register an account under the official name of a short drama copyright holder.
  • Do not use the theater’s official logo as your avatar.
  • Never repost official materials directly, or repost them after simply adding a watermark or filter.
  • Do not post episodes beyond the officially authorized ones. Paid episodes beyond the free ones must be re-edited and recreated — not spliced and published directly.
Violating these rules may lead to reports, account bans, and revenue from the related codes or links becoming unsettleable.

Registration Flow

Prefer Outlook email to register TikTok accounts.
Besides registering yourself, you can also buy pre-made email accounts, which suits bulk account preparation.
In the early stage of a new account, do not frequently change the name or avatar, switch devices, or mass-follow, to avoid triggering risk control.

Account Warm-up and Operations

Warm-up flow:
  • Keep browsing videos for half a day
  • Like intermittently (1-2 likes per 10 videos)
  • Comment randomly (short and natural, e.g. Nice!)
  • Follow selectively (3-5 accounts in related niches)
Qualification checklist:
  • Algorithm fit: recommended videos match your interests.
  • Follow visibility: accounts you follow appear in your following list in real time; accounts that follow you appear in your followers list.
  • Two-way verification: use another account to search and confirm the new account is discoverable.
After passing verification:
  • Bind a payment method or email.
  • When you start posting, keep the first 3 videos on a daily schedule.
Testing flow:
  • Post a test video: upload original real-shot content, recommended length ≤15 seconds.
  • Observation period: check views after 24 hours.
Account grading:
Advanced tips:A star account’s first videos should keep a daily cadence.A qualified account can break through traffic tiers with paid boosting.
Notes:
  • Batch zero-view warning: if multiple accounts all get no traffic, check proxy IP purity and device fingerprint camouflage.
  • Test content rules: avoid reposted materials; video quality should be ≥1080p.
  • Golden window: within 48 hours after screening, complete the account profile — avatar, bio, and vertical tags.
Comment-section scripts: Refer to the scripts below for each promotion type; adjust the copy flexibly to the actual situation.

TikTok Account Branding

Nickname: Reference names like ShortDramaSeries, ShortPlotTwist, ShortFlicksHub, etc. — combine around “Short” or get creative on your own. Avatar: Usually a face-showing real-person photo of a foreign (local) face. Reference below ⬇️ TikTok avatar reference Bio copy:
Stage 1: <1000 followersThe goal at this stage is reaching 1000 followers, so the copy can invite users to follow you. If you run code promotion, guide users to find the code in the video.

Stage 2: ≥1000 followersThe website feature is now available: put the promotion link in Website, and add one more line to the original copy guiding users to tap the link below to watch.

  • Change avatar: Change photo
  • Change account name: Name
  • Change bio: Bio
  • Change link: Website
Promotion link rules:
  • Different theaters have different promotion links; dramas under the same theater share one link, so one link per theater is enough.
  • When publishing dramas from multiple theaters, use a link tree for promotion.

Video Creation Tips

TikTok videos are best kept at 2-5 minutes. A new account’s first videos are best kept around 3 minutes; overly long videos hurt completion rate and therefore distribution.
Common editing formats are listed below; in the mid-term, learn more editing styles by benchmarking quality accounts:
Copyright riskWhen adding narration subtitles and background music, watch out for music and font copyright. Use royalty-free music and fonts, or make sure you have obtained legal usage rights. If you use background music, always pick it from the TikTok or CapCut music library.

Editing Requirements

The first 3-5 seconds decide whether viewers stay; include at least 1 type of high-energy element: Notes:
  • Avoid panoramic slow shots in the first 5 seconds.
  • Avoid linear narration; prefer flashbacks or intercutting.
  • Do not rely on text-only narration; let the visuals deliver the hook directly.
  • Avoid merging multiple raw episodes into one long video — it hurts completion rate and distribution.
  • Do not repost raw footage directly; re-edit, cut redundant content, and distill the core highlights.
  • Keep the cover style consistent so users can quickly recognize the same drama or the same account.
  • Covers may highlight conversion info such as the promotion link, promo code, or view count, but should not cover the core visuals.
  • Add profile-guidance copy at the end to lead users back to your profile for more content.
  • For code promotion, highlight the drama app name and promo code on screen to help users search.

TikTok Content Review Red Lines

Age rating control:
  • No pornography, gore, violence, sexual innuendo, tobacco, alcohol, or other 18+ restricted content.
Originality risk:
  • Do not repost videos directly.
  • Do not rely on simple deduplication, watermarks, or filters.
Mitigation suggestions:
  • Apply motion blur to fast-moving scenes.
  • Stack multiple mosaics over key areas.
  • Custom smart-recognition masking tools are available.
Repeated content warnings may lead to throttling or even account bans.
